THIS IS ONE OF ABOUT 500 NAPCO'S PRODUCED IN 1959 WITH THE FACTORY 4X4 CONVERSION, HERE IS HOW YOU CAN TELL THE
FACTORY ONE APART FROM A DEALER INSTALLED ONE; FIRST THE TRIM TAG WOULD HAVE HAD A GVW OF 7300 LBS INSTEAD OF THE
6900 LBS, SECOND THE CROSSMEMBER THAT HOLDS THE TRANSFER CASE IS RIVETED INSTEAD OF BOLTS & THIRD THE NAPCO EMBLEMS
WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ON THE TRUCK. THIS TRUCK IS 100% ORIGINAL, EXCEPT FOR THE TIRES, WHEELS, ENGINE & GAS TANK. THE
GAS TANK WAS MOVED OUT OF THE CAB & INSTALLED IN THE BED. THE ENGINE WOULD HAVE BEEN AN INLINE SIX CYLINDER 235 CI
TRIFT MASTER, IT HAS A STRONG 327 V8 VETTE ENGINE CASTING CODE 3782870 THAT HAS BEEN UPGRADED WITH AN HEI AND AN
ALTENATOR. IT HAS THE ORIGINAL TRANSMISSION, NAPCO TRANSFER CASE & NAPCO DIFFERENCIALS. EVEN THE RADIATOR IS THE
ORIGINAL. THE TRUCK COLOR IS FOREST GREEN – GM PAINT CODE WA387E. THIS TRUCK WAS BORN IN OAKLAND CALIFORNIA AND
